hakia.com Finds Sugarmama in Chicago
July 30th, 2007 by hakia Team
We just got back from Chicago where we met fabulous bloggers at the BlogHer conference. We gave them the latest scoop on hakia.com. We enjoyed hearing the BlogHers’ feedback. Most were quite surprised that we have a female President/COO- yes we do!
Now about Sugarmama… We raffled off two leather Coach bags and met M.J. Tam aka “sugarmama.†She was one of our winners. In the picture on the left, you can see Emre with MJ, holding her prize. Thank you sugarmama for your feedback. Enjoy the bag! We had fun on our breaks and borrowed some hats from an exhibitor neighbor. We send a big “hello†to all the bloggers and take our hats off to the organizers for the terrific job done! Stacy, Emre & Melek |

That hakia-branded t-shirt is sweet. Where did you come up with the name hakia?

Hi Matt,
hakia doesn’t have a meaning. We were lucky we could get a five letter domain name that is easy to pronounce.
If you like, we can ship you a hakia t-shirt. Drop us an email at contact@hakia.com with the size and address.
Cheers,
Melek

Hello! I’m listeing to the Hakia CD on my computer at the moment, so I thought I’d drop by your blog. I got the CD at Blogher, but didn’t see you guys. I was so sad that I missed the raffle!! Anyway, I really like the CD and I’ve been trying your search engine. I may just blog about it…

Dear Anali,
Please feel free to blog about us by any means! We would be curious to learn what you think about hakia.com’s performance. I hope you like the search music. Our band certainly enjoyed creating it.
We are sorry we missed you at the BlogHer this time. We will catch you next time.
Cheers,
Melek
