Global Trade & New Beginnings

Looking out into New York Harbor from our terrace on the 33rd floor, one can see the Statue of Liberty stoically at her perch on Liberty Island just off to the right. The Staten Island Ferries quietly come and go, mingling with the sailboats and other vessels in the bay. Waves gently curl against the southern tip of Manhattan, and the trees, slowly coming into bloom, bristle in the breeze down in Battery Park.
We have just relocated here from our old Tribeca locale, winding down along the Canyon of Heroes to 39 Broadway, in the heart of Manhattan’s bustling Financial District. It is a vibrant area, just around the corner from the rather well-known New York Stock Exchange, and we have barely broken stride, still working hard toward bringing the meaning of your internet search to the next level.
We’ve got a lot of things going now that we’re cozy and situated from the move. Just unveiled are the hakia-Lab pages, where our R&D Team has shared a few precious secrets as we further implement the Ontological Semantics systems (OntoSem). There, you’ll also find out more information to give you an inkling of what we’re doing with our QDEXing and SemanticRank. You can see by their faces that, while we’re all very serious about what we do here, the R&D Team is more than just lab coats and goggles…
New York City is considered the Capital of the World: the Financial District is the financial capital of the city, and we here at hakia are striving to be a beacon of search reliability. Stay tuned for more updates on what’s going on in and around the neighborhood, as we further settle in to our new digs.
