hakia Holiday Party at the Brandy Library

December 13th, 2006 by Melek Pulatkonak, COO

We decided to stay in our neighborhood and take a “spirited” journey in Tribeca for our holiday celebration. We had the Brandy Library all to ourselves and enjoyed the fireplace, the friendly staff, and tasty offerings from the shelves and the kitchen. It was a well-deserved party for the team. Our greetings go out to all who could not make it!

Postcards from the Road – Chicago

Blew into the Windy City for the final SES show of 2007. Took nearly a day to defrost—and then what a sight- adorning most every neck were hakia lanyards with our colourful frog badge holders (and it’s not just us saying that: http://cre8pc.com/blog/archives/161).

Many of the sessions drove home a single point: search is not static. Searchers today demand meaningful results whether we read them, watch them, listen to them or vote on them! In addition, we want search at our fingertips and on the go. In other words, search is a 24 hour city and convergence device agnostic. Happily, so is New York-based hakia as we continue work on bringing more relevant and meaningful results to Web searchers. This show was also Danny Sullivan’s last stop before officially launching his new venture next week, Search Engine Land (check it out here: http://searchengineland.com/

We wish him every success!
